D'Angelo Foundation
The Visalli family resides in Cheltenham Township, Montgomery County. Tom and Jodi have three amazing children. Jared, 9, Evan, 7 and Jordyn, 3. Their youngest child has been diagnosed with a genetic disorder called Neurofibromatosis. Jordyn's disease has caused her to have Pseudoarthrosis of the left tibia. She has been through two surgeries on her leg and currently uses a brace and a walker to move around. Jordyn also has renal artery stenosis, or narrowing of the renal arteries and aorta, which has caused her to have loss of kidney function. Jodi and Jordyn spent the entire summer at the University of Michigan where she had undergone surgery to fix the stenosis. Unfortunately, this was her second surgery to alleviate this problem, but it was not successful. Being away from home for two months, the Visalli family has accumulated many unexpected bills. To further complicate their hardship, Tom had started a new job a few weeks prior to Jordyn's surgery and unfortunately due to the nature of his job, he did not receive any income for several months.
Sadly, there will be more surgeries in the future for Jordyn. Jodi and Jordyn are forced to travel to Michigan each time medical care is needed on her renal arteries and aorta. There is only one doctor in the United States qualified to treat Jordyn's disease.
Due to the unexpected medical costs and the many surgeries that lie ahead, the Visalli family could use some financial support from those around them that can help. Jordyn currently has medical coverage but it does not cover expenses such as travel and hotel stays. The hotel expenses alone are exorbitant!
Every penny of your donation is guaranteed to go to the Visalli family with acknowledgment of the donor. Please consider making a donation to help Jordyn and her family.
